Twin port refuted at the level of upstream's invariant. Lockstep needs P: every D0 has a 1 on its right (F1 is never followed by D0).
Read the full status
P holds in simulation (1e10 steps of 697, 2,170 D0 events, none violating; 1e6-step trace lockstep), but upstream's certificate does not contain it. The native replay of nonhalt58's exact FAR call closes with 256 events, and the closed set contains pre3L 1|C>[0x2%2] -> ret3 ... -> D retL D 1^(4k+2) 0^inf for every k, from which both machines reach a P-violation (0^inf <D 0 (1 0)^.. at step 10+8k) and then 697 halts (F reads 0 after 51/89/135/189 steps for c=2/6/10/14) while the twin runs on. So the twin's closed set contains configurations from which 697 halts; the same call on 697 fails at retL F<[0x1%1]. Upstream's argument does not carry over from any opening.

About this picture
The standard picture (bbchallenge.org's Default view): each row is the whole tape at one step, time runs downward, and the head's path draws the pattern.
Overview
In one sentence
identity (same names, same start A, no mirror); tables differ only in D0: 697 1LB, twin 1RB. If D reads 0 at p with t[p+1]=1, 697 runs D0 and the twin runs D0 B1 B1, and both end in the same configuration (B at p-1, t[p]=t[p+1]=1); only cells p,p+1 are read, so this holds for every tape. D0 with t[p+1]=0 is possible only right after F1 (window E0 F1 D0); there the runs split. (status.json relation)

- No port, no delta proof.md. Candidate for direction 5 (regular-language search): the target invariant must exclude 'F1 followed by D0' while covering the twin's orbit. scripts/fartrace (ancestry query: 11th argument) and scripts/twin_check.py test any FAR closed set in seconds.

Importing nonhalt58 (or copying its solve_cert) proves the twin only; the missing P is a new nonhalting-strength invariant of 697 (upstream's invariant contains P-violating configurations from which 697 halts), and CTL62 brings PArray/Uint63, which the unchanged check_kill baseline rejects. No Perm or Flip is needed (identity relation). A kill needs a regular invariant for 697 itself excluding the left-end family 0^inf 1 C> 1^(4k+2) ... in a gate-passing format (Astra's NFA package; direction 5), or a hand proof of P plus a gate-passing twin proof.",
