The first 10,000 steps from a blank tape. Time runs down; white is 1.
About this picture

The standard picture (bbchallenge.org's Default view): each row is the whole tape at one step, time runs downward, and the head's path draws the pattern.

Overview

In one sentence

same tape up to translation (tm158 cell p = 276 cell p+2), sync states tm158 B/C = 276 C/D, tm158 A (entered by C1) = 276 E, tm158 D and E = 276 A; identical cells B0/C0, B1/C1, C0/D0, C1/D1, A0/E0, D1/A1; detours EA1 (guard t[p+1]=0), DA0, EA0, AE1 (guard t[q-1]=0). Every radius-7 context from a sync pair merges or ends in S1 (tm158 halts on D1 E1 F1 over 1 1 1; 276 sweeps those 1s in A) or S2 (276 halts on D1 E1 F1; tm158 sweeps right in A). Not funded. Only open lead: longer native RWLAcc runs past the split (direction 3, halting pipeline), counted only if the standard RWLAcc62 call reproduces them. Nonhalting would need a Chaotic Bell Class 4 invariant (W6-5, line 333, same family, parked as a cryptid candidate).

"formalization_route": "None for the port. RWLAccHaltv6.v's lemmas for tm161 and tm158 prove only that the twins halt, and the holdouts split from the twins exactly at those halting steps, so no module transfers (no Perm or Flip, no new init). Any later halting proof would have to use the standard RWLAcc62 checker under vm_compute (closed assumptions; Astra's tm1193 calibration passed the unchanged gate), not RWLAcc62_BigUint, whose soundness lists Uint63 primitives outside the baseline.",
