"rationale": "Round 2 made the halting condition exact. The machine halts only when the cluster 11.01.00 meets arrivals in the phases x,E,x,x,E. That sequence halts in 60 of 60 instances, and every other phase prefix dissolves the cluster harmlessly. Seeds of this chain keep forming: 11 by 2.45e10 steps, about 0.7 per doubling. Stages 2-5 read only the left context, and their phases match the generic rates seen anywhere on the tape (about 50%, 35%, 13% and 50%). Two candidate invariants were ruled out (a global phase gauge and gap mod 4), and the 70 cells left of each seed differ in every seed. A non-halting proof would need hidden structure that the data do not show. Under the coin model the machine halts only around 2^100 steps or later, so neither a proof nor a halting search is in reach. This is the obstacle the cryptid protocol is for. Another stage would gain little: 11 seeds are too few to test events that happen 1% of the time.",
