It fits a unit-level transducer: grid re-read 100->010, 000->000, 010->001, then the mini-eats. It then fuzzes a candidate reachable-word language for closure. Exit: if the language is closed, proof.md comes back to you at medium-high confidence. If mini-eat safety depends on the counter's bits (about N mod 2^D) non-locally, #29 is flagged under the cryptid protocol and parked."

"rationale": "Everything except the eat is exact. ROUND matches 870,221 of 872,741 K-transitions with 0 mismatches, OVERFLOW matches 2,382/2,382, and the right half is tm108's proven HR1/HR2/HR3/HE2. The eat is only 0.29% of transitions, but it is the whole proof problem. Random eats over the four unit types halt about 5% of the time, so the invariant has to be the reachable language, and nobody has written that down yet. #29 has had only the observe pass. #18, the other bell-eats-counter machine in this queue, closed its eat for aligned counters in its first deepen round with block-level rewrite rules, the same kind of rules this stage would fit. The cryptid risk (the eat consumes N mod 2^D) is real but untested, and a deepen stage is the cheapest way to settle it. Parking now would shelve a nearly ruled machine. Joint work with R2 is not worth it yet: R2's marker step differs, and R2's own decision proposes its own stage.",
